we have free openings every month, weekend workshops, we display art at no cost to the artist, we pay to keep professional lighting and security, we promote artists for free online, we offer to emerging artist to have a there first solo show for free with professional advertising, and official open etc, believe me i have heard so many people say o should do this, sell coffee, have live music, make it a free working studio, drawing classes, etc, and i get so angry because they all must have a sugar daddy who will pay for wonderful ideas let alone the toilet paper, the electricity, the rates, the solicitor fees, the licenses, the staff wages, the public insurance, i hear so many good ideas from people who havn’t got a clue about the law, or finances, or the responsibilities of handeling atrworks. ….yeah, we could go down the direction of the bush doof, exciting and popular, but ultimately supported by welfare and drug sales
